Holkham Hall - English Romance
Nothing says elegance more than Holkham Hall. It is one of the best wedding venues that Norfolk has to offer. With unrivalled views, you are certain to get some gorgeous photos.
This wedding weekend started on Friday night, with many of the bridal party and families staying at the local Victoria Inn. There was a casual drinks reception held at the Victoria for everyone to get to know each other before the big day.
In the morning the bride and her maids prepared in the Victoria's bridal suite. With hair done by Boldero & Filby and makeup done by Fallon Jayne.
Guests made their way to the picturesque marble hall ready for the ceremony. The acoustics in the hall are magnificent and fitted the string trio that played perfectly.
Following the ceremony, a drinks reception took place on the lawn of the Lady Elizabeth Wing, with garden games from our collection and delectable canapes.
The wedding breakfast and evening reception was held in the Lady Elizabeth Wing. The room was gorgeously decorated with a soft romantic palette that really complemented Holkham Hall as a venue. Centrepieces from Swaffham and Fakenham Florist decorated each table alongside votives and lanterns from our hire collection.
The showstopping suspended cake from Couture cakes was certainly a talking point and perfectly encapsulated what this wedding was all about. Romance, tradition and glamour.
Guests dined on a sumptuous meal by Julie Abbs Catering and danced late into the night alongside the Blue Lion Band.
